Michele Blasco
Michele Blasco (born February 17, 1628 in Sciacca ; † 1685 ibid) was an Italian painter and architect of the Baroque period in Sicily .
Life
Blasco, who comes from Sciacca, only worked in the vicinity of his hometown. In addition to his work as an architect, he created frescoes and panel paintings . As a painter and architect, he was commissioned to renovate the Chiesa Madre (also called Chiesa Matrice) in Sciacca around 1656. The work lasted until 1686.
