Michiel of Glymes of Bergen

Michiel von Glymes von Bergen (also Michiel van Bergen ) (* 1456 ; † 1482 ) was a Dutch nobleman from the Glymes family .

Michiel's parents were Johann II von Glymes and Marguerite de Rouvroy. In the hook-and-cod war , Michiel was a cod supporter . In 1481 he was able to skillfully tangier all of the confiscated goods (with the exception of the High Glory Purmerend - Purmerland ) of the hook leader Johan III. van Montfoort preserved; including the high glory Polsbroek , with which he was enfeoffed in August of the same year by the future emperor Maximilian of Austria . Since Michiel died without descendants, his younger brother Cornelis von Glymes von Bergen took over the inheritance.
