Mickaël Chérel (born March 17, 1986 ) is a French cyclist .

Athletic career

Mickaël Chérel became French champion in the junior class road race in Cusset in 2003 . The next year he won the overall ranking of the Trophée Center Morbihan and was once runner-up on the Route de l'Avenir. From the end of the 2006 season, Chérel drove for the French ProTeam La Française des Jeux , initially as a stagiaire , and in 2011 he got a contract with Ag2r La Mondiale . By 2018, Chérel had participated in eleven major country tours; his best placement was 18th in the 2015 Tour de France .
