Mickaël Robin (born May 28, 1985 in Strasbourg ) is a French handball player .
The 1.90 meter tall and 82 kilogram handball goalkeeper joined the rival Chambéry Savoie HB in 2008 after seven years at SC Sélestat handball . For the 2010/11 season he had signed a contract for Montpellier HB without consulting his own club. After lengthy negotiations between the two clubs, it was agreed that Robin would play in Montpellier from the 2010/11 season and that Nebojša Grahovac would move to Chambéry in 2011 in return. With Montpellier, Robin won the French championship in 2011 and 2012 and the French cup in 2012 and 2013. In February 2014, Robin was signed by FC Barcelona to replace the injured Arpad Sterbik until the end of the season. Since he previously started in the EHF Cup , he was eligible for the EHF Champions League . With Barcelona he became Spanish champion. For the 2014/15 season, Robin moved to the French first division club Cesson-Rennes Métropole HB for two years . He then joined US Créteil HB .
