Moderator and upper-Mouseketeer ( Head Mouseketeer ) was Jimmie Dodd , who wrote the lyrics of the title song.

The show of the 1970s

The theme song was a disco number, the sets were colorful and straightforward. For the first time, members of ethnic minorities were found among the Mouseketeers.

The series proved to be a flop, as only 70 television stations bought the series and so it was discontinued after a year, despite minor changes in the concept that should increase its success.
