Apartment building Brunnenstrasse 156
The tenement Brunnenstraße 156 is a residential building from the mid-19th century in the Rosenthaler suburb , a neighborhood in Berlin district of Mitte . The building, which is now a listed building, was built in 1854 for the carpenter Ernst Scholz and converted in 1880. It was created before Hobrecht's development plan , which came into force in 1862, and illustrates the suburban development on Brunnenstrasse between Rosenthaler Platz and Bernauer Strasse . A factory was built on the rear of the property in 1890, consisting of two five-story transverse buildings and several single-story side buildings.
