The tenement house at Malczewskiego Street 34 in Szczecin is a listed residential building located on Jacka Malczewskiego Street (before the Second World War : Birkenallee ). It is located in the Szczecin Centrum urban settlement in the Śródmieście district . It is the only preserved pre-war tenement house in the residential area bounded by today's Matejki, Malczewskiego, Piłsudskiego and Wyzwolenia-Alle streets, and one of the few preserved pre-war buildings in this part of the city.

The building was erected in the then Birkenallee at the end of the 19th century. The front facade is symmetrical, seven-axis . The facades of the ground floor and the first floor are decorated with bosses . The windows on the top floor and in the attic are crowned with cornices with floral motifs. The tenement house has three balconies in the center of the facade, which are decorated with Ionic columns and panels. Stairs with balustrades , terracotta on the floor and some apartment doors have been preserved from the pre-war equipment of the stairwell .

Before the Second World War , there were eclectic tenement houses on Malczewskiego Street . During the war, almost all of the buildings on Malczewskiego Street between Matejki Street and Wyzwolenia Allee fell into rubble, except for tenement number 34.
Until 2016, the tenement was owned by the municipal company "Zarząd Budynków i Lokali Komunalnych" (German: Management of Buildings and Communal Spaces ). There were plans to sell the apartment building and land for the nearby Galaxy Shopping Center or to renovate the building. None of these plans were finally implemented. On July 4, 2016, the company “Zarząd Budynków i Lokali Komunalnych” sold the property by tendering . After two years, the owner sold the apartment building to the local developer Siemaszko. The new owner should renovate and expand the house.
