Rental villa Wasastraße 59

description

Wasastraße 59 (left), 1903

Also known as Villa , under designated historical monument standing rental villa is a two story house on a paneled with rubble stone, grouped by sandstone basement floor , which was extended in 1917 for a "home-home". The flattened, slated hipped roof with roof garden has also been developed. The building with its wide overhanging roof shows echoes of the Swiss style .

In the street view of the building, on the right-hand side, there is a side elevation with a gable roof , supplemented by a "crippled roof" and a split gable; In this gable, which was originally boarded up, there is a semicircular wooden balcony in front of a coupling window with a door. In front of the left rear ply is a wooden veranda with an exit on top.

In the side views there are three-storey central projections with half-hip gables .

The plastered building is structured by plaster strips and corner squares and in the gables and in the jamb by ornamental frameworks, the windows are framed by sandstone walls. The upper floor windows are arched and emphasized by keystones . The windows on the south side of the building are greatly widened.

The rental villa is related to the rental villa Dr.-Schmincke-Allee 19 , but has an extended floor plan and some “strikingly large windows”.
