Miguel "Baba" Francisco Coulibaly (born October 15, 1972 in Dakar ) is a Senegalese - German football player . The striker has played his career so far exclusively in Germany.
Career
In 1992 Coulibaly came to SSV Ulm for the first time in 1846 , but could not prevail under coach Paul Sauter . But he came back in 1997 via SpVgg Au / Iller and SV Lohhof . In 1998 he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga with the team . There he was mainly used as a joker in the 1998/99 season. He came off the bench 23 times, only on the last match day he was in the starting line-up. He scored three goals in these 24 games. Because of his goal to the 2-0 final score at Tennis Borussia Berlin on the penultimate matchday in the promotion battle for the Bundesliga , he is still celebrated today by the supporters of SSV Ulm 1846 as the “ football god ”.
Coulibaly left the club anyway and went to VfR Aalen , who had been promoted to the Regionalliga Süd , with teammate Neno Rogošić . In 2001 he reached the final of the WFV Cup with the club . There he met the amateurs of his former employer SSV Ulm 1846 and was able to contribute to the cup victory with the goal to 1-0 in the 48th minute of the game. In 2001/02 he was sixth in the regional league's list of goalscorers with 14 goals this season, and in the 2-0 victory over the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart, he was again in the list of goalscorers for the cup final. At the end of the season he moved to league rivals FC Augsburg , where he scored 13 goals in the first season. In 2004 he returned to VfR Aalen, where he played for another two years. With 149 games and 50 goals, he ranks second behind Neno Rogosic in the VfR Aalen regional league leaderboard.
In 2006 "Baba" Coulibaly signed again with SSV Ulm 1846 to help the team move up to the regional league. The center forward was also one of the most accurate attackers in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg . At the end of the league season 2007/08 , in which he scored ten goals this season, he qualified with the club as second in the table for the now fourth-rate regional league. In the following season he was only one of the supplementary players, in his 17 missions he was substituted on eleven times.
For the 2009/10 season Coulibaly, whose contract had expired, moved to BC Aichach in the Swabian regional league. In 2010 he switched to the Württemberg state division club SV Ebersbach for professional reasons. From 2011 he played for the national league club FSV Waiblingen, for which he was only able to play one game due to health problems. At the beginning of 2014 he moved to SV Salamander Kornwestheim within the national league season 1 .
