Miha Žvižej (born November 6, 1987 in Celje , SR Slovenia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Slovenian handball player .

The 1.91 meter tall and 102 kilogram heavy right circular runner was under contract with RK Velenje in the 2009/10 season , with whom he played in the EHF Champions League . Then Žvižej played for the Danish first division club Bjerringbro-Silkeborg . From the summer of 2012 he played for the French first division team Fenix ​​Toulouse Handball . In the 2016/17 season he was under contract with league rivals Montpellier Handball . He then moved to the Danish club Ribe-Esbjerg HH .

Miha Žvižej is a member of the Slovenian national team and was on the squad for the 2010 European handball championship . Žvižej has played 102 internationals so far, in which he scored 222 goals.

His brother Luka Žvižej (* 1980) plays handball for GWD Minden .
