Miikka Aleksi Multaharju (born October 9, 1977 in Lappeenranta ) is a former Finnish football player .

Career

society

Multaharju started playing football at Rakuunat in his hometown of Lappeenranta. In 1997 he moved to the Finnish first division to MyPa and established himself in the team in the following years. Here he stayed for six seasons, played 159 games and scored 19 goals. In 2002 he was runner-up with MyPa.

For the 2002/2003 season he signed a contract with Denizlispor in the Turkish Süper Lig . Multaharju became a regular player and crowd favorite, among other things by the fact that he scored both goals to a 2-0 win in the 2004/05 season at the home game against Fenerbahçe Istanbul .

After three seasons in Turkey, he decided to return to Finland. On his return he played for Fredrikstad FK , HJK Helsinki and his former club MyPa , where he announced his retirement at the end of 2009.

National team

Multaharju had six appearances for the Finnish national team between 2003 and 2005 .
