Mika Monto (born March 20, 1976 in Hyvinkää ) is a former Finnish squash player and today's trainer.

Career

Mika Monto played on the PSA World Tour from 1995 to 2003 and reached six finals there. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 45 in December 2001.

With the Finnish national team he took in 1995 , 1997 , 1999 , 2001 , 2007 and 2013 (without insert) at World Championships in part. He was also a member of the Finnish squad at European Championships several times and became vice European champion with the team in 1998. Between 1998 and 2002 he was three times in the main draw of a world championship in individual, with all participations he was eliminated in the first round. In 1999 he became Finnish champion . After his active career, he was also the national coach of Finland and Malaysia .
