Mike Kilian (born July 13, 1961 ) is a German singer , composer , producer and lyricist .

Life

In 1979 he founded the band DEUS . In 1981 he joined Rockhaus and stayed with the band until 1998. In 1986 Kilian was a member of the Gitarreros , a formation made up of musicians from well-known bands from the GDR for the Rock for Peace event .

He is the singer and guitarist of the Rolling Stones co-band Starfucker , which he founded in 1998. In 1994 Kilian was the head of the successful Wagnerama project , an album of Wagner pieces, which were adapted in rock style. This resulted in numerous excursions into classical music . Edo Zanki covered two Kilian tracks on his CD in 2001 as Edo Zanki und Freunde .

In 2002 Kilian was a background singer on Sabrina Setlur's tour . In September 2002 he founded his label Killingkilian Records and it released his first solo CD Mike Kilian - always different . In 2003 Tobias Künzel von den Prinzen brought him into the band Final Stap together with Christian Sorge and Dirk Posner (formerly Amor & die Kids ) .

Since 2005 Kilian has been on tour again as a singer with Rockhaus. In 2019, Mike Kilian will take part in the Ostrock meets Classic project , where he will present old and new Rockhaus songs with an orchestra.

Kilian lives in Berlin and is married.
