Mike Marriott (born August 5, 1949 in Essex , England ) is an English folk musician and singer-songwriter .

He also became known through appearances as a one-man orchestra , in which he plays up to eight musical instruments at the same time. Among other things, he carries a bass drum on his back. He appears at concerts and in clubs, including playing at the Pflasterspektakel in Linz .

Mike Marriott was one of the first musicians to bring self-produced long - playing records onto the market.
