Mike Molloy

Mike Molloy (born January 5, 1940 in Sydney , Australia ) is an Australian cameraman .

Life

Molloy started his professional life in 1958 as a camera assistant for the Australian newsreel Cinesound. From 1963 he was shooting short and documentary films. In 1967 Molloy moved to Great Britain, where he made his debut the following year as a simple cameraman under Nicolas Roeg's chief camera in the Mick Jagger film " Performance " . Under John Alcott's guidance, Molloy also took part in two important productions by Stanley Kubrick , "A Clockwork Orange " and " Barry Lyndon " . Back in Australia, Mike Molloy made his debut as head cameraman for full-length feature films in 1975, but kept returning to London for a few films. Molloy's most important works include " The Death Scream ", "The Professional Killer" and "The Curious Monkey Story" " Link - The Butler " . Occasionally, Molloy has also worked in Hollywood and for television.
