Michael Robert Pritchard (born October 26, 1969 in Sumter , South Carolina , United States ) is a retired American football player on the position of wide receiver . He played in his career for the Atlanta Falcons , Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Pritchard grew up in Las Vegas and went to high school there. He later attended the University of Colorado . In his senior year of college, he scored 733 yards and six touchdowns .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

Pritchard was selected in the 1991 NFL draft by the Atlanta Falcons in the first round in 13th place. Here he played for three years. He scored his first touchdown in his first season on September 15, 1991 in the game against the San Diego Chargers . In the 1993 season he scored his career record of seven touchdowns.

Denver Broncos

For the Broncos he played 18 games (4 touchdowns) in two years.

Seattle Seahawks

From 1996 to 1999 he played for the Seattle Seahawks. Here he reached his career best in yards scored in the 1997 season (843 yards). After the 1999 season, he ended his NFL career.
