Miklósi ( German Niklasing) is a municipality in Hungary in Somogy County in the Southern Transdanubia region. The population on January 1, 2009 was 234 people.
location
Miklósi is located 26 km south of Balaton (Lake Balaton). The size of the area is 10.47 km². The municipality belongs to the small area Tab , the notarial district office is Bedegkér . The national roads 61 and 65 pass in the east in about 15 km distance, the motorway M 7 is 20 km to the north.
population
The inhabitants live in 124 apartments. The population consists of 95% Hungarians, of which 17% are of German descent, 1% are German and Dutch, 4% are other nationalities. The denominations are composed of Roman Catholic 88.8%; Protestant 2.7%; Lutherans 2.7%. 1.9% do not belong to any church or denomination; 3.5% are unknown or not reported.
