Tab [ tɔb ] (German: Tabau ) is a town in the small area of Tab within Somogy County in Hungary .
Tab is the administrative seat of the small area of the same name.
The Balaton (German Balaton ), the largest lake in Western and Central Europe, is located northeast of Tab at a distance of 20 km; in between runs the M7 motorway to Budapest , 130 km from Tab.
