The Milcov is a second-order tributary of the Sereth in eastern Romania . The largest neighboring city is Focșani .
History
In 1482 the river was declared by Stefan the Great to be the border between the Principality of Moldova and the Principality of Wallachia . This border was abolished by the merger of the two principalities in 1859.
