In the upper reaches of the Mill Creek is dammed into a small lake ( Amazon Lake ). Below the dam it joins Little Mill Creek and reaches Washington Township . There the stream changes direction again and turns to the east. At the hamlet Romona - north of the city Spencer - reached the Mill Creek first one former Altwasserarm and finally the current river bed of the White River .
