background

Millionaires started in the summer of 2007 when sisters Melissa and Allison Green created a song with the GarageBand program. The song was titled I Like Money and the teenagers created the MySpace Millionaires profile to match their song title. Dani Artaud and Melissa met at a party on their high school days and became friends. Dani later joined the band and the trio created their second song called Hoe Down and released an EP called Bling! Bling! Bling! .

After a few months they were sponsored by DJ Hyphy Crunk and they started giving local concerts. They received places in music festivals such as Bamboozle Left 2008 and Audio Overload 2008. In July 2008, they went on their first tour along the west coast with Breathe Carolina . In July 2008 they started their own, the Get f $ cked up tour. In July 2008 they played on MTV in TRL as part of On The Radar , a show that featured bands without a record deal. The girls returned in January and February 2009 with their Just Got Paid, Let's Get Laid tour , which sold out every day.

They made a short song called Ooh Uh Huh , which became the theme song for MTV's reality show A Double Shot at Love with the Ikki Twins . Their song Hey Rich Boy was also used as the theme song for MTV's Teen Cribs and the song Alcohol was featured on the soundtrack of the third season of Skins . Her songs I Like Money and I Move It were featured on the MTV show My Life as Liz . Her cover song of Chic's song Le Freak is featured in the MTV film Turn The Beat Around . On June 23, 2009 they released a new EP called Just Got Paid, Let's Get Laid , which is a remake of Bling! Bling! Bling! with two new songs.

An excerpt from her new song Prom Dress was posted on the Popjustice website on December 8, 2009. Her Christmas carol Rated X-Mas was released on December 16, 2009. Millionaires released three brand new songs, Stay the Night , Prom Dress and Microphone, on their MySpace page on March 24, 2010. They signed for B-Unique Records in the UK and made a music video for their single Stay The Night . It premiered on BBC Radio 1 on June 6, 2010 . The single was released for download on July 21, 2010. The trio will release their debut album around the middle of 2010. Millionaires released two remixes of Stay The Night and a mega-mix of their favorite songs, including two brand new songs: That's How We Party and Hush Hush / Hush Little Boyfriend .

In August / September 2010 Dani left the band. On March 1, 2011, the song Catch Me If You Can was released together with Jeffree Star . On May 31, 2011, her song Summer Nights was released with Christian TV and offered as a free download.

In 2012 the single Drinks On Me was released for their first studio album. Because the album's release was delayed, their mixtape Your Girl Does Party was released on May 15, 2012 and offered for free download. The album with the title Tonight is now slated for a release on March 13, 2013.
