Millioner ( Russian Миллионер , millioner ) is a Soviet propaganda cartoon from 1963, which was directed by Witold Bordsilowski and Juri Prytkow . The cartoon was produced by the film company Soyuzmultfilm . The script for this cartoon was written by Sergei Mikhalkov .
action
A rich old lady leaves all of her fortune to her bulldog . She initially enjoys her life with the money and a little later joins the millionaire club. Through the influence of her new friends, she becomes a politician who is not interested in the people but in maximizing their profits and who therefore does not shy away from starting a war.
At the end of the cartoon, the bulldog is seen standing on some money bags that suddenly disappear.

background information
The cartoon is a clear rejection of capitalism , which is all about maximizing profits. The cartoon shows how an almost harmless bulldog turns into a corrupt politician and warned the socialist people about the power of money.
The film was later also released on video in Argentina by the Empresa Hispanoamericana de Video (EHV) . The film was also released on DVD in America.
