Milorad Popović (born January 18, 1979 in Ruma , Yugoslavia , † July 19, 2006 ibid) was a Serbian football player .

Popović started at the clubs FK Sloven Ruma, Big Bull Bacinci and the 1st Maj Ruma. He had his breakthrough at OFK Belgrade , from where he also moved to 1. FC Nürnberg for one season in 2002 . There he was used 23 times in the Bundesliga . After the club's relegation, the defender was loaned to the second division for Karlsruher SC for the next season . In 2004 he finally returned to OFK Belgrade.

His wish to play for the national team of Serbia and Montenegro never came true; only in the U-21 national team of his country he came to some missions.

In July 2006, Popović died of testicular cancer .
