Mimi Walters (actress)
Mimi Walters (born November 21, 1926 - November 16, 2014 in New York City , New York ) was an American actress and dancer .
Life
Walters began dancing as a child and appeared in the Broadway production Follow the Girls in 1945 . In the 1950s, she starred in a regional theater production of Annie Get Your Gun , toured with the Guy Lombardo Orchestra and appeared in various television commercials . From 1958 to 1959 she appeared as an assistant to Tom Kennedy on the quiz show Doctor IQ . Between 1958 and 1965 she starred in a number of television series, including the Bonanza episode Help for Harry , with Charles Bronson in the role of Harry .
After a final television role in 1965, she retired from show business and worked as an account manager in the late 1960s. In 1972 she married Spelman Prentice, a grandson of John D. Rockefeller ; the marriage existed on Prentice's death in 2000.
