Mina Hodzic (born June 6, 2002 ) is a German tennis player .

Career

Hodzic started playing tennis at the age of five and prefers hard courts. So far, she has mainly played on the ITF Women's Circuit , where she has not yet won a title.

She played her first professional tournament in June 2016 in Essen and reached her first main draw in July of the same year in Amstelveen .

At the National German Indoor Tennis Championships 2017 , she started with a wildcard, but already lost in the first round against Dinah Pfizenmaier with 1: 6 and 4: 6. At the Bredeney Ladies Open 2018 she reached the round of 16 with a win against Isabella Pfennig . At the ITF Future Nord 2018 she reached the quarter-finals as well as at the National German Indoor Tennis Championships 2018 .

In 2019 she received a wildcard for qualifying for the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix , her first tournament on the WTA Tour . But it failed in the first round to Magdalena Fręch with 2: 6 and 4: 6.

In 2018 she played in the 2nd Tennis Bundesliga and in 2019 in the 1st Tennis Bundesliga for TC Bredeney .
