The ITF Future Nord 2018 was a combined men's and women's tennis tournament that took place from June 19 to 24 on the grounds of the TC at the Schirnau in Kaltenkirchen . As a men's tournament, it was part of the ITF Future Tour 2018 and as a women's tournament it was part of the ITF Women's Circuit 2018 . Both parts of the tournament came with $ 15,000 in prize money. The tournament director was Björn Kroll.
There was a 32 field each in the singles. Of these, 20 places were awarded on the basis of world ranking positions. A further eight places were played in a qualifying tournament, which also took place in Kaltenkirchen from June 16 to 18.
In doubles, a field of 16 competed in each case, with the men’s field being filled with three wild cards.
Prize money and world ranking points
At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. For the men, $ 15,000 was to be given away, while for the women, $ 300 was deducted from the $ 15,000 prize money for initial medical care provided by the primary health care provider .
