The Minapa Glacier is located in the western Karakoram in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .
The Minaping Glacier has a length of 18 km. It flows in a north-westerly direction through the northern part of the Rakaposhi Haramosh Mountains . At the southeastern end of the Minapine glacier, the 7,266 m high summit of Diran (formerly also Minapin ) rises up. The glacier is bounded in the south by the mountain ridge that connects the Diran in the east with the Rakaposhi in the west. The Minapine glacier ends about 1.5 km south of the Hunza River at the settlement of Minapin Nagar .
