The Minichlacke is a small pond in the 23rd district of Vienna , Liesing .

description

The Minichlacke is a small, approx. 600 m², romantic fish pond in the Maurer Forest at the source of the Knotzenbach , from which it is fed and then flows off into the Knotzenbach. The Minichlacke is a popular stopover for dog owners and walkers in the Maurer Forest and is only a few minutes' walk from the car park at the end of Maurer-Lange-Gasse. Two park benches at the edge of the pond invite you to linger.

history

The Minich paints named after the former head forester Hannes Minich named in the 1980 years forester was in Maurer Wald. The biotope was probably created around this time . He later worked for the Austrian Nature Conservation Union and was most recently, until his death, the President of the Vienna Regional Group of the Austrian Nature Conservation Union.
