Ministerial Law

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In Germany, a ministerial law is a law that regulates the legal relationships of members of the government. There are ministerial laws at the federal level and in the federal states. The Federal Chancellor and the Federal Ministers ( Art. 62 GG) fall under the federal law, the members of the individual state or state governments (in the area states ) and senates (in the city states ) fall under the state laws .

Whether state secretaries also belong to the personal scope depends on whether they are members of the government. This is not regulated uniformly nationwide.

The areas of regulation include the level of official salaries, pensions and survivors' benefits . They also prohibit the acceptance of benefits or the exercise of professional, advisory or arbitration activities during the time as a member of the government.
