Minuscule 52 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), ε 345 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 158 sheets of parchment (16.5 × 12.5 cm). The manuscript was dated to the 13th century using paleography .

description

The code contains the full text of the four gospels . It was written in one column with 27-30 lines each. The Codex contains Prolegomena, κεφαλαια, Ammonian Sections, Eusebian Canon , Forms, and Signatures.

The Greek text of the Codex represents the Byzantine text type and is assigned to Category V.

history

The manuscript belonged to the monk Joasaph. William Laud received the manuscript in 1640. John Mill and Johann Jakob Griesbach compared them.

The Code is currently in the Bodleian Library (Laud. Gr. 3) in Oxford .
