Minuscule 69 (in the numbering according to Gregory-Aland ), δ 505 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament . The manuscript consists of 122 paper and 91 parchment sheets (37.8 × 27 cm). Using paleography , the manuscript was dated to the 15th century. It was written with one column on each side with 37-38 lines each.

The code contains the complete New Testament with gaps (Matt 1: 1-18: 15; Acts 10: 45-14: 17; Jude 7-25; Revelation 19: 10-22, 21). The order of the books is Pauline Epistles , Acts of the Apostles , Catholic Epistles , Revelation of John and Gospels . It contains lists of the κεφαλαια, Latin κεφαλαια, signatures, and non-biblical additional material such as: A Declaration of the Principles and the Seven Councils, the Life of the Apostles, Limits of the Five Patriarchs (such as Codex 211 and 543).
Text of the code
The Greek text of the Gospels represents the Caesarean text type . Aland placed him in Category III . The rest of the New Testament books in this codex represent the Byzantine text type . Aland places it in category V a. Together with manuscripts 13 , 124 , 174 , 230 , 543 , and others, it belongs to the text family f 13 .
History of the Code
The manuscript was presented to George Neville , Archbishop York (1465–1472). It belonged to William Chark (or Charc), and then to Thomas Hayne. The manuscript was collated by John Mill , and examined by Johann Jakob Wettstein , Samuel P. Tregelles , Frederick Henry Ambrose Scrivener , Abbott, and Rendel Harris.
The Code is located at the Leicestershire Record Office (Cod. 6 D 32/1) in Leicester .
