Ingo Schubert

Ingo Schubert (born December 26, 1927 in Dresden ; † December 14, 1999 ) was a German doctor , university professor and politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Ingo Schubert attended the Humanist Gymnasium Kreuzschule in Dresden and passed his Abitur in 1946. After being rejected for his studies, he worked as an actor and actor in Dresden. From 1951 he studied human medicine in Leipzig with the state examination in 1956. After being fully licensed, Schubert received his doctorate in anatomy and then worked in neurology and psychiatry . In 1961 he was a specialist at the Leipzig University Neurological Clinic. Schubert specialized in neurology and neuroradiology and was a senior scientific assistant and senior physician at the Leipzig University Clinic until 1968 . Afterwards, Schubert headed the neurology department in the specialist hospital for neurology and psychiatry in Altscherbitz . From 1973 he was medical director and chief physician there. He later became a lecturer ( Facultas Docendi ) at the University of Leipzig . Schubert was a member of the diploma commission of the medical faculty.

Schubert was an Evangelical Lutheran and married.

Ingo Schubert had been a member of the CDU since 1946. Between 1970 and 1973 he was a city councilor in Leipzig. Schubert actively pursued health policy and was involved in the health policy working group of the CDU regional association from 1990 onwards.

In October 1990 he was elected to the Saxon Landtag through constituency 13 (Leipzig, Land 1) with 47.0 of the votes, to which he belonged for an electoral period until 1994. There he was a member of the Committee on Science and Universities and the Committee on Social Affairs, Health, Family and Women .
