Minuscule 88 (numbered after Gregory-Aland ), α 200 ( from Soden ) is a Greek minuscule manuscript of the New Testament on 123 sheets of parchment (26.5 × 18.6 cm). The manuscript was dated to the 12th century using paleography . The handwriting is complete.

description

The manuscript contains the text of the New Testament other than the Gospels . It was written in one column with 28 lines each. The manuscript contains prolegomena, lists of the κεφαλαια and στιχοι . It contains the Comma Johanneum (added as a marginal note in the 16th century).

The order of the books is Acts , Catholic Epistles , Pauline Epistles, and Revelation to John . The letter to the Hebrews is listed as Paul's last book.

The code is currently in the Biblioteca Nazionale Vittorio Emanuele III (Ms. II. A.7) in Naples .
