Mirbach is part of the Wiesbaum community in the Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatinate . He is at 460 m above sea level. NHN .
history
Mirbach was first mentioned by the old chapel from around 1200. It was completely demolished and replaced by the Erlöserkapelle . The new church was built in April 1902 by Ernst Freiherr von Mirbach in neo-Romanesque style and consecrated in September 1903. Mirbach is considered the ancestral seat of the old Rhenish noble family of the Lords of Mirbach .
On March 17, 1974, the previously independent municipality of Mirbach zu Wiesbaum was incorporated. The place has 82 residents with main residence (as of September 30, 2014). The juniper protected areas and the nature conservation information center are well worth seeing .
