Heinrich Horwitz

Heinrich Horwitz (* 1984 in Munich as Miriam Horwitz ) works in German acting and theater direction .

Life

The child of the actor Dominique Horwitz played his first television roles in his youth. For the first role as Beppa Spitzer in the Brother Esel series , Horwitz received the Grimme Prize in 1997 together with Dieter Pfaff and Renate Krößner . After graduating from high school, Horwitz originally wanted to study veterinary medicine, but then decided to study direction and choreography at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . From 2011 to 2013 Horwitz initially worked as an assistant director at the Heidelberg Theater and Orchestra before realizing his own productions, next to the theater in Heidelberg at the Schauspiel Leipzig , at the dance archive there, at the Junge Theater in Halle, at the Mainz State Theater and on stages in Sweden. In acting, Horwitz had engagements at the Comedy Düsseldorf , the Volksbühne Berlin , the Théâtre national du Luxembourg, Heidelberg and Halle. In addition to a series role in Brother Esel , Horwitz appeared on television in 1999 alongside Dominique Horwitz in the Ludwigshafen crime scene War Traces. Today Horwitz rejects the distinction between male and female sex - Horwitz is non-binary and uses the term “ diverse ”.
