Adolf Grimme Prize 1997
The 33rd Adolf Grimme Prize was awarded in 1997 . From 492 proposed television productions, two selection committees nominated 8 series and multi-part series, 32 individual programs and 15 special performances by television personalities for the award. Here, the received ZDF 15 nominations, ahead of the WDR (13), arte , SAT.1 (subject 5), ORB , MDR and RTL (subject 3). The jury awarded prizes in the categories of series and multi-part series , fiction and entertainment , information and culture and special . In addition, the audience award of the Marler Group , the special award of the Ministry for Urban Development, Culture and Sport and two special honors from the German Adult Education Association were awarded.
The award ceremony took place on March 21, 1997 in the Marl Theater. Bettina Böttinger was the moderator .
