Grimme Prize 2014

On April 4, 2014, the 50th Grimme Prize was awarded in the theater of the city of Marl . Among the approx. 800 invited guests were, in addition to many prominent actors, Federal President Joachim Gauck , NRW Prime Minister Hannelore Kraft and Rita Süssmuth , President of the German Adult Education Association, the founding company of the Grimme Institute. Klaus Doldinger and his jazz formation Passport provided the musical accompaniment, and Michael Steinbrecher moderated the award ceremony .

The press conference for the announcement of the Grimme Prize winners took place on March 19, 2014 in the great hall of the Düsseldorf State Agency for Media in North Rhine-Westphalia.
