Nonthoughts (nickname: NOTGEDANKEN with Oliver Kalkofe ) was a German television program that was broadcast between March 29, 2013 and August 21, 2013 on the private broadcaster Tele 5 . In it, Oliver Kalkofe reads from the autobiographies of living celebrities.
The title and format of the show allude to the 1980s show Nachtgedanken .

The intro initially shows the Brandenburg Gate and how Oliver Kalkofe enters the Hotel Adlon . Kalkofe then, standing at a desk in a library decorated to match the theme, greets the audience and names the title, author, publisher and year of publication of the work, from which he then reads for about three to seven minutes and which is next to him on a gramophone. An important component is the (sometimes exaggerated) imitation of the author's voice and manner of speaking.
After the reading, Kalkofe wishes the viewers good dreams and a good night, with the wording alluding to the book read and accordingly different from show to show. Then you see Kalkofe leaving the hotel again. The picture freezes and the credits are displayed.
