Mirko Fait (born June 3, 1965 in Milan ) is an Italian jazz musician ( soprano and tenor saxophone , composition) and music producer.

Act

Fait, who grew up in a family of musicians, began learning the guitar in the 1970s. It wasn't until the 1990s that he started playing the saxophone. He was first taught in Bergamo by Alberto Nacci, then in Milan by Michele Bozza, Giulio Visibelli and Emanuele Cisi in the center di jazz Civica , the Franco Cerri and Enrico Intra initiated; then he had lessons with Michael Rosen . In 2002 he accompanied the Cuban musician Gendrickson Mena Diaz. Fait has subsequently worked with Michele Bozza, Marco Panascia , Roberto Piccolo, Germano Zenga, Jorge Gonzales, Gigi Cifarelli and Luigi Tognoli. In 2007 he founded his Fait Club Quintet; in the Mantic Ensemble he worked with the pianist Danilo Manto and the drummer Max Patrick. In 2009 he became the artistic director of the United Jazz Artists of Milan project . He is now responsible for the jazz productions of the Italian Way Music label . He has also appeared in films such as Cado dalle nubi and Imagine You and Me . "
