Mitar Markez ( Serbian - Cyrillic Митар Маркез ; born October 25, 1990 in Sombor ) is a Serbian handball player .

Career

Markez began his career at RK Crvenka . In the 2010/11 season he was in the extended squad of the French champions Montpellier HB and made nine league appearances and six games in the EHF Champions League . In the summer of 2011 he moved to Frisch Auf Göppingen in Germany . At Frisch Auf Göppingen he was initially also intended as a supplementary player. Therefore, he also received a second game right with the second division TV Bittenfeld . With Göppingen he won the EHF Cup in 2012 . At the end of the 2013/14 season Mitar Markez was bid farewell to Frisch Auf Göppingen. In July 2014 Markez signed a contract until the end of the year with the Austrian first division club Alpla HC Hard , as they had to fight many injuries. At the beginning of 2015, the backcourt player was signed by the league competitor Union Leoben . At the end of the 2014/15 season, his contract was not extended by the Styrians . From summer 2015, the Serb played for HC Odorheiu Secuiesc . In 2017 he was signed by Gyöngyös Kezilabda club.
