Mitsuo Iso

Mitsuo Iso ( Jap. 磯光雄 , Iso Mitsuo * 1966 in Aichi Prefecture , Japan ) is Japanese animator, Anime - Director and - screenwriter .

He started working at the OVA on Final Fantasy in the mid-1980s . He then worked on works such as Neon Genesis Evangelion , FLCL by Studio Gainax and as a key artist for Hayao Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon or the animation scenes in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill - Volume 1 . He mostly animates action scenes.

For Dennō Coil he wrote the script and directed, and animated a few small scenes.
