The Mjøsund Bridge ( Mjøsundbrücke ) is a cantilever bridge built road bridge in the Norwegian Fylke (Province) Troms og Finnmark .
The bridge was inaugurated in 1994 and carries the provincial road Fv848 from the mainland over the Mjøsund to the eastern tip of the island of Andørja . It is 840 m long. The main arch with the ship passage is 184.75 meters wide and has a clearance height of 35 m.
Since December 2000, Andørja has been connected in the west with the neighboring island of Rolla by the 3396 m long Ibestadtunnel , a single-tube road tunnel . Since then, both islands, which together form the municipality of Ibestad , have been directly connected to Norway's road network.
