The Moder-Nunatak ( Spanish Nunatak Moder ; in Argentina Nunatak Chubut ) is a Nunatak on the Orville coast of the West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises 33 km south-southwest of the Dodson Peninsula .
Chilean scientists named him after Jorge Moder Jorquera, glaciologist and geologist on the 10th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1955-1956). The namesake of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
