Castle of Sainte-Mère

Sainte-Mere ( Gascon : Senta Mera) is a French municipality with 215 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the municipality association Lomagne Gersoise . The residents call themselves Sainte-Mérois / Sainte-Méroises .

It is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gimbrède in the northeast, Miradoux in the east, Castet-Arrouy and Lectoure in the southeast, Saint-Avit-Frandat in the south and southwest and Sempesserre in the west, northwest and north.
