Plieux is a commune in the Gers department in south-western France ( Occitania ).
Location and geography
Plieux is located in the southwest of France and in the area of the historic province of Gascony . The Auroue River flows north through the western part of the village, while the Arrats River forms the eastern boundary.

In 1800 the place had 725 inhabitants. Among the residents is the lord of the castle (and writer) Renaud Camus , who is considered one of the masterminds of Marine Le Pen .
