Monbrun ( Occitan : Montbrun ) is a municipality with 385 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region of southern France . The municipality is part of the Condom arrondissement and belongs to the canton of Gimone-Arrats and was part of the canton of Cologne until 2015 .

Monbrun is about 40 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse . Monbrun is surrounded by the neighboring communities Encausse in the north, Bellegarde-Sainte-Marie in the east and northeast, L'Isle-Jourdain in the east and southeast, Beaupuy in the south, Roquelaure-Saint-Aubin in the west and Thoux in the west and north-west.
