Encausse ( Occitan : Encaussa ) is a municipality with 427 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the southern French region of Occitania (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality is part of the Condom arrondissement and belongs to the canton of Gimone-Arrats and was part of the canton of Cologne until 2015 .

Encausse is about 40 kilometers west-northwest of Toulouse . Encausse is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cadours in the north, Caubiac in the northeast, Vignaux in the east, Bellegarde-Sainte-Marie in the east and southeast, Monbrun in the south, Thoux in the southwest, Saint-Cricq in the west, Cologne in the west and northwest and Ardizas in the Northwest.
