Mauroux ( Gascon : Mauro) is a French municipality with 135 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the municipal association Bastides de Lomagne . The inhabitants call themselves Maurosiens / Maurosiennes .
It is surrounded by the neighboring communities Marsac (in the Tarn-et-Garonne department) in the northeast, Castéron in the east, Gaudonville in the southeast, Avezan in the south, Saint-Clar in the southwest and Saint-Créac in the west and northwest.
