Marguestau ( Gascon : the same name) is a French municipality with 75 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Condom and the community association Grand Armagnac . The residents call themselves Margostanais / Margostanaises .
It is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cazaubon in the northeast and east, Ayzieu in the southeast and south, Lias-d'Armagnac in the southwest and west and Larée in the northwest.
