The canton of Grand-Bas-Armagnac is a French constituency in the Occitanie region . It is located in the Arrondissement Condom des Départements Gers . The capital of the canton is Nogaro .
geography
The canton is located in the northwest of the department on the border with the Landes department .
history
The canton was created on March 22, 2015 as part of the reorganization of the cantons. Until 2015, its communities belonged to the cantons of Nogaro (26 communities) and Cazaubon (14 communities).

Elections to the Council of the Gers Department
In the elections on March 22, 2015, no party achieved a majority. In the second ballot on March 29, 2015, Vincent Gouanelle / Isabelle Tintané (Divers droite) and Marie-Ange Passarieu / Christian Peyret ( PS ) won with a share of the vote of 52.74% (turnout: 63.89%) ).
